Certificate presented by NSF International demonstrates a commitment to dietary supplement quality and compliance with U.S. GMP requirements
WILSON, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Criticality, LLC, a North Carolina-based industrial hemp company, is pleased to announce the receipt of its Dietary Ingredient Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) registration from NSF International. The registration demonstrates that certain of the Company’s products are produced in a manufacturing facility that has the proper methods, equipment, facilities and controls in place to produce dietary supplement products.
GMPs are guidelines that provide a system of processes, procedures and documentation to ensure that products and ingredients are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. The GMPs were developed in accordance with regulation on dietary supplement manufacturing, packaging, and distribution. Utilizing GMP guidelines assists companies in developing and maintaining proper controls in their manufacturing process so that products are processed, manufactured and labeled in a consistent manner, and meet quality standards.
“Criticality could not be more pleased to receive its GMP registration from NSF International. The rigorous GMP registration process—which assesses everything from our facility and equipment to our distribution and documentation procedures—helps to set our Company and our hemp-derived CBD products apart from others in the industry and represents our commitment to providing consistent, transparent and high-quality products,” said Criticality CEO Brian Moyer.
Criticality’s GMP registration can be found on NSF’s online database. Registration is the first step to entering Criticality’s CBD products into NSF’s product certification program and provides Criticality access to use NSF’s highly regarded registration mark on promotional material and advertising.
“The GMP mark indicates that a NSF International auditor has personally inspected the facility, reviewed the appropriate documents and deemed the facility compliant with GMP regulations for production,” said David Trosin, Managing Director, Health Sciences Certification at NSF International. “We congratulate Criticality on its NSF GMP registration of its CBD extraction facility and look forward to working with them to ensure continued registration.”
